During a small,fire which occurred in a shed at the back of the Foresters' Hall on Monday, evening, a valuable procession banner, which is said to be valued at £6O, was destroyed. Little other damage was done.
SECURITY! ' "Will it keep?" is the thought of many after bottling fruit. To be quite sure of it use only good jars and heavy rubber rings, renewing the latter every season.
