ST. ALBANS CIRCUIT. The quarterly meeting held on Monday was presided over by the Rev. li. :B. Neale. There was an attendance of 40 officials. A motion of appreciation was passed to the services rendered by the combined choirs of Rugby street and Edgeware road in producing the "Messiah" on several occasions. Arising out of a discussion in the appointment of a Methodist deaconess for the City, it was agreed that the Board become responsible for its share of the cost. Messrs A. Williams and L. Jones were appointed to represent the circuit at conference, and Messrs A. Williams and R. Bedwell were elected circuit stewards. ' Plans for the erection of outbuildings on the church site at Bryndwr were approved. The question of the appointment of a probationer to have charge of 'the Bryndwr congregation was debated at some length, resulting in a motion being carried that the proposal be referred to the June -quarterly meeting for sympathetic consideration. Notification was made that a Young Worshippers' League, Young People's Musical Society, and a Band of Hope would be established at an early date. _ The circuit stewards were authorised to arrange for a social reunion in connexion with the next meeting of tho Board.
