Sanders Cup Meeting. A public meeting, convened by the Mayor, will be held in the Council Chambers tonieht at 7.30, to make the necessary _ arrangements for the entertainment of visitors to the Port in connexion with the Sanders Cup contest next month. Harbour Light Theatre. "How Baxter Butted In," a comedy-romance starring Matt Moore and Dorothy Devore, will be repeated at the Harbour Light Theatre to-nieht, together with a comedy, gazette, and the seventh of the "Fighting Blood series. To-morrow, "The Texas Streak, a Lniver-sal-Jewel Western production, featuring Hoot Gibson, will be screened. Tho supporting programme includes a Century comedy and an International News. Beclaimed Area. This morning members of the Borough Council will inspect the portion of the reclaimed area near the dock which has been set aside by the Harbour Board as a recreation ground for the borough. _ The work of trenching and draining the whole of the reclaimed area is now well under
