ADDINGTON METHODIST CHURCH.
The quarterly meeting of the Addington Methodist Church was held at Selwyn street, the Eev. A. Liversedge presiding. A gratifying increase in senior Church membership returns was reported, the total being 205. A small credit balance was shown on the financial statement for the December quarter. The Sunday School returns gener-"| ally were satisfactory. Foreign mission contributions amounted to £66. To initiate a £SOO debt reduction -effort in connexion with the Union Church property, a garden party was held, realising £6O. Harvest festival services were arranged for Union Church on March 6th, and Lincoln road Church on March 13th. Over £IOO was promised for the new Methodist College building tund. Messrs E. Fehsenfeld and E. Lockwood were re-elected circuit stewards. Mr J. H. Jones was elected circuit representative to the Conference, the substitute representative being rtfr W. T, Burley. A resolution, was adopted recognising the high spiritual value 1 of the recent Gipsy Smith Mission to the churches of the cirouit.
