REVOLVERS AND BRICKS.
THE KYOGLE AFFRAY. (BY CABLE—PBEBS ASSOCIATION—COFYBIGHT.) (ATJSTBALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, January 17. The shooting affray at Kyogle waß caused by a number of undesirables oamping near the railway works. This was resented by the workers, and resulted in considerable ' friction, which culminated when a number of men visited the railway camp at night. There was a free fight, in which sticks and bricks were freely employed, and, as the fight proceeded, revolvers were used by both sides. Police rushed to the scene from Kyogle and arrested three men. Later they made two more arrests. [A previous message stated .that as the result of a shooting affray in a railway camp near Kyogle, near the Queensland border, three men and one woman were injured. Seven men have been arrested. All the victims are expected to recover.]
