EARTHQUAKES IN CALIFORNIA.
♦ (BT CABLK-r»XSS ASSOCIATIOH—COr-TBIOHI.) (AUSTRALIAN AND K.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received January 17th, 7.5 p.m.) VANCOUVER, January 16. A message from Calesico, California, states that nine earthquake shocks were felt to-day, which widened the fissures in the buildings which were damaged by the earthquake of three weeks ago, and caused residents to rush ihto the streets.
