The Archbishop of Canterbury promises publication of the provisional Prayer Book alterations on February 7th. He deprecates premature attempts by earnest but uninformed partisans to exaggerate the scope of the proposals and to fan controversial flames. Apprehensions and expectations have been aroused, he states, which will prove unjustified.
