The competition held at Cass for the cup presented by the Officers' Club was won by No. 5 Christchurch (Edgcwarc road) Troop, which troop also won a Union Jack that was awarded to the troop giving the most original evening s entertainment during the camp. .Major \\. Ashworth. District Commissioner, in presenting ilie trophies, welcomed the reinstitution of combined camps as a means of promoting healthy rivalry between troops. He hoped that the recent camps would not be the last and that troops would also be able to hold small week-end camps. He asked the committee of the ScoutciV Association to draw up rules for the next competition for the cup. Major Ashworth commended the spirit in which No. 1 Christohurch (St. Michael's) and No. 2 (St. Matthew's) Troops had attended the Cass cam 5 in greater strength than other troops, and the former, particularly, for the excellent entry it made for tho Christmas toy competition. He then presented the silver "Thanks" badge to Miss A. Wilson, a young Lvttelton lady, who attended the Wnimakariri Cub camp to help with the Lyttelton hoys and whose services proved of great value.

District Scoutmaster V. Olds was elected chairman of the ScouterV Association for the coming year.
