A company is in process of formation for the purpose of manufacturing silk and other hosiery and similar goods in AVellington.
: The capital of the company is £25,000, of which £15,000 is subscribed. Shares to the value of £oCCO will bo reserved for. employees, and 0000 shares of £1 each will be he d. in reserve. The capital has been locally subscribed. . . • ~ The names .of the provisional directors are • those of. well-known Wellington business men. Mr M.K. Rogers, formerly mill manager for Bond s Hosiery Mills, "Wellington, has been appointed manager of the" new company. The machinery fo r the new factory is on the water, and it is intended to make an early start.
