The heat wave in Victoria and South Australia has spread to Now South Wales, where many high temperatures are reported, the maximum being 111 degrees at Wilcannia. ANOTHER DEATH IN MELBOURNE. (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received January 14th, 9.25 p.m.) MELBOURNE, January 14. The city is again in the throes of a heat wave, to-day being the sixth in succession of excessive temperatures. The thermometer was 107 but a cool change arrived in the afternoon. Another death attributed to heat occurred at the Old People's Home.
