POLISH BANDITS.
ROUND-UP IN FRANCE. (BT CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AtfD N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) PARIS, January 13. Twenty months were occupied in collating details to arrest a gang of Polish bandits who terrorised France and Belgium for two years. The chief, Vladimir Zingsuk, appointed gangsters, provided funds, sold the products of the thefts, and financed arrested members. With the assistance of four lieutenants, arrests began in 1925, as a result of Poles betraying Zingsuk and Lieutenant Bruzda-. The latter took refuge in Germany.
The gang committed six and attempted five other murders, and committed 50 armed burglaries. Twenty-two of the 54 bandits are charged with offences, and will stand trial in April.
