SCHOOL OF FORESTRY.

STATE APPOINTMENTS. The first two students to finish courses at the Canterbury College School of Forestry recently have received appointments with the State Forest Service. Mr S. C. Hamilton has been appointed forest guard at the State Forest Service plantations at Nnseby. Mr C. S. Barker has heen engaged to carry out research in wood anatomy for the Forest Products Department of the State Forest Service. Both these students have successfully completed the ranacr course as provided by the School of Forestry.
