SALVATION ARMY.
Commissioner Hay is leaving for the south this morning, after spending a week in Christchurch inspecting the work of the Salvation Army in and around the City. Visits were paid to Kaiapoi, Rangiora, Oxford, and Lyttelton, and public meetings were held in those centres. It is stated that arrangements arc being made for tho extension in the near future of the evangelical work of the Salvation Army, to several of the rapidly-growing suburbs of the Citv. The first of these will be New Brighton, where a Salvation Army hall is now in course of erection.
