Speaking at a social function given by British Indians in honour of the Indian delegation attending the Round Table Conference, "the lit. lion. Srinivasa Sastri said thero was now every hope that the basis for a perfect understanding was laid. lie came full of hope, but with not much expectation, and he would leave with his hopes practically fulfilled and his expectations raised still more that it would not be long before they would get their due. A final sitting of the conference will be held to-dav.
