FENDALTON PARK.
WAIMAIRI COUNCIL'S PROPOSAL. It is proposed by the 'Waimairi County Council to raise a special loan of £5500 for the purchase of land to provide a nark in Webb's road, Fendalton. The money it is proposed to borrow will be expended as follows: —Purchase of land £ISOO, improvements £SOO, first year's interest and sinking fund £BBS, advertising, poll expenses, and miscellaneous £lls. To provide security for the loan, if the poll is carried, a special rate of {d in the £ on the rateable (capital) value will be struck on all rateable property in a special Fendalton Park loan area, in which a poll will be taken between !) a.m. ami 0 p.m. on February 17th.
