At the Magistrate's Court, Leonard David Williams, 23, engineer, MorrinsVille; and William Gibson Young, engineer, was charged with assaulting and robbing Tarn Sam Wong Too on December 12th, 1925. Both pleaded guilty, and were committed to the Supreme Court for senThe evidence disclosed that accused came to Rotorua on a motor-cycle, with the intention of robbing a Chinese, and they selected their victim after examining several premises. Their capture was the result of a quarrel with' lady friends, who gave them away.
