FIRE AT OXFORD.

A five-roomed house occupied by Mrs Lohnan and Mr and Mrs Charles Crosse, situate at Church street, East Oxford, was totally destroyed by fire at midnight on Saturday. The oeeupants retired at 9.30 p.m. Mrs Crosse was awakened by smoke, and found the house fiercely burning;. All the occupants escaped, and with tho help of a few neighbours they wore able to save a little clothing. Their loss is a very heavv one.
