MOTUNAU RABBIT BOAD.
A meeting of tho Motunau Rabbit Board was held recently, there being present: Sir Charles Campbell (in the chair), and Messrs E. C. Gardiner, J. W. Byrch, and A. E. Byrne. . The chairman reported that the rabbit-proof fence between Tipapa and Glen Dhu had been completed. He also reported that .Mr L. H. Campbell had romp'eted 75$ chains of rabbit-proof fencing between his property and Stonyhurst, the cost being £166 Ba, which was considered very reasonable. Mr Bjich reported that he had completed one mile of fencing. The chairman detailed the steps taken in regard to the fence between Devaar and Stonyhurst, and the chairman's action was approved. The Boßrd had made an application, through its solicitors, for a loan of £3OOO for a period of twenty years, and it was now awaiting a reply.
