Jliss Isa Cooksou (Kawa Kaka, Auckland), who has been visiting relatives in the Ellesmere district, left on Saturday to visit Hawardcn, North Canterbury. The monthly' concert arranged by Mrs Ben Saville was given in the corridor at the Public Hospital on Friday afternoon. A pleasant reception in honour of Mrs A: E. Gay and the Misses Winnie and Elsie Gay .(Cape Town, South; Africa) was given by ,Mr and Mrs W. Moor at their home in Riccarton.
