Mr Sydney Smith complains bitterly of the action of the Board of Cricket Control in rejecting; his application for the secretaryship without explanation. He said all the recommendations regarding future tours and changes in policy, with the exception of bonuses to players, decided on hv the Board were contained in his report on the last tour.
