Last year 33,C59 assisted migrants were sent to Australia and ?few Zealand, making, with those paying for their passages, 50,000, which is a postwar record. It included 12,200 for New Zealand. Assisted immigrants of all classes who went to Canada totalled 130,569, including 47,551 from Britain.
