A- modern Diogenes, named Lambert, who was found in a tub, appeared at the Gateshead, England, Court, recently. '.He'was charged with having been found on enclosed; premises. A witness said when he went into his backyard, one afternoon lie found Lambert hiding in a "poss-tub." He also discovered that an attempt had been made to .force a window with a shovel-and-a piece of iron. Lambert was fined £3.
