FIREMEN'S COMPETITIONS. On Saturday a competition in lire brigade .events was held at the headquarters elation by the members of the btaff. Satisfactory entries were received, and a food day's sport resulted. The officials were: Messrs \V. Juries anil W. Ciiininings, examiners; Superintendent C. C, Warner, judge; Deputy-Superintendent C. The winner of tho gold medal was Fireman A. E. Hadler. (148 1-5 points), with Fireman W. J. Smith runner-up. Tho prizes will be presented at a smoke concert to be held at the station on Tuesday night.
