RECORD MEETING.

A FINE PROGRAMME The ifo-.hvca Caledonian Society held it-; annual athletic meeting on Saturday. The weather was perfect for roost, of the day, but about five o'clock a heavy drizzle of rain came on, necessitating the abandoning o£ the wrestling and a few oi the dancing competitions. Very good times were put up by tho runners, while the jumping reached a high standard. Competition in all the events was very keen.
