It jumped the gutter and crasbed into a telegraph pole, which was carried away. The telephone wires ivero'. brought down with the force of the smash and the tele-. phones in Eastbourne road were disconnected from th© time of the accident late yesterday afternoon. This morning linesmen were busy rewiring the damage, and by noon tho tMk was completed and teieplionic eominunicatiori with that part of Bfuraera was restored.
