LONDON, January 5
As tho result of Sir James Parr's negotiations, Mr Gerald Loder has presented a valuable silver challenge cup for competition at the chief shows in New Zealand with a. view to encouraging the preservation of native bush and flora.
The competition will be arranged by trustees consisting of the Minister for Agriculture and two recognised botanists.
Mr Loder presented the cup to the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, who is conveying it to New Zealand.
