DUNEDIN CITY.
BUILDING PROGRESS, [THE FBESS Special Sendee.] DUNEDIN, January 6. An indication of the steady growth of the city of Dunedin is found in the annual returns of building permits issued for 1925. The value of the buildings for which permits were issued for the past year was £826,415. For June, July, and November the value of the permits issued totalled over £IOO,OOO each month. The year's biggest permit was that of £50.000 for the new "Evening Star" buildings. The "Otago Daily Times" ako has a permit for buildings costing £27,000.
