QUEEN'S THEATRE.
The funniest thing Charles Chaplin has yet been seen in is "Tho Gold Rush," now showing at the Queen's Theatre. In this, Chaplin proves that he is a good deal more than a mere fun-maker; he displays considerable dramatic powers, and introduces a very appealing vein of pathos. Tho picture, it is stated, was actually filmed in Alaska, and the result is many remarkable snoweffects. The Australian story, "Robbery Under Arms," is tho second featuro of importance on the bill, and depicts the hairraising adventures of tho notable Captain Starlight and his gang of bushrangers.
