GRAND THEATRE.
Adapted from the stage play of the same name, "The Bat" is uoiv being screened at tho Grand Theatre, and is making a
success of sending thrills up the respective spines of the audience*. Fui! of mystery and general iincaniiincss, "The Bat" holds the spectators' attention ;.-oru start to tinish, and gains over the :-:uge presentation by the fact that the screen affords so many more opportunities for securing tho utmost in atmosphere. While tho picture is of the sinister type there are many touches of light corned" which relieve it from any s U? . gestion of heaviness. Louise Fa-ieuda is in the leading role.
