QUEEN'S THEATRE.
• Charles Chaplin proves himself much greater than a mero funny man in "Tho Gold Rush," which is now being screened at the Queen's Theatre. This is the iinost picture under the Chaplin banner to date It is full of delightful comody, but there is also a wealth of appealing pathos, which makes a great impression on any audience. "Robbery Under Arms," an Australian story, is tho second attraction. This deals with the famous, or infamous, Captain Starlight and his band of bushrangers, over defying tho mounted police. Thrills and furiously-mov-ing action make this film a thoroughly interesting ono.
