There was • total entry in this department of 34 head, of which Matson and Co.'a tally was 18. The sale, no doubt owing to the small entry, was a most spirited one, and all . classes were well competed for, and prices wers slightly in advance of late rates. Values were:—-Bast 2nd, 3rd, and .Ith culvers £8 to £l2; medium £6 to £7 15s; inferiors £3 10s to £5 15s, heifers £5 10s to £S, old cows In profit n 10s to £3 10s. FOB BEST RESULTS CONSIGN YOUR STOCK TO H. MATSON and CO., ADDINGTON. STORE CATTLE. There was a total entry of 172 cows and heifers and 12 bulls. The majority of the entry was made up of pens of young heifers, and tho feature of the sale was a couple of pens of fresh cowb. The market throughout waa easier all round, especially for young heifers, the buying power being practically exhausted for this class owing to the lateness in the season. Values were:— Good cows £3 15s to £i 18s 6d; medium fresh cowa £2 10s to £3 15s; old cows 30s to £2 ss; good heifers 2} years to £4 ss; medium heifers to £2 15s; low condition kelfera from 30s upwards; yearling steers £3 18s (A.
