POSTAL DELIVERY.

TO THE EDITOR 01 THE PBKSS. Sir, —I have noticed some newspaper correspondence recently about unsatisfactory postal deliveries in residential areas. This is, however, a small matter compared to the inconvenience caused by late delivery in the business area. My office is in probably the most valuable business locality of the City within ten chains of the G.P.0., and yet the first delivery does not reach me until about 10.30 a.m., and often later. This has been going on for a long while, and although complaints have been made and explanations received no improvement has been effected. Personally, I would favour an increase in postal rates if this would give me an earlier delivery. The present arrangement is most exasperating.—Yours, etc, HEREFORD STREET.
