ACCIDENTALLY DROWNED.
(PRESS ASSOCIATIOR TELBBRASI.) TTMAPJJ, January 3. At the inquest to-night on the body of John William Hobhs, the 15-year-old son of John Hobbs, 'Timaru, a verdict of accidentally drowned while bathing in Miiford Lagoon, near Temuka, was returned. The action of Hobbs' mates in attempting to rescue him was commended.
