MID-CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Mid-Canterbury Lawn Tennis SubAssociation'a Christmas tournament was advanced a further stage yesterday, when all the championship events were concluded. The handicap events were continued, and are well through. The results are as follows: A GRADE. Men's Singles Championship—Semi-final: Walker beat Angas, 6-1, 5-7, 6-3; Ollivier beat Allison by default. Final: Ollivier beat Walker, 6-3, 6-0.
