WAIMAKARIRI-ASIILEY. At the monthly meeting of the Board there were present; Messrs .las. Brown (chairman), F. Shcat, Geo. Wayland, and John Waller. The secretary, reported an excellent supM of water coming into the intake. The team had been engaged in carting away rubbish f c/m.the bank of the main race on Wolf! s load. Mr E Grknsey wroto making an offer of 35- tor the old bridge timber on Horwood mad The offer ivas accepted. Ranger Spriggs tendered his as water-race ranger ro the West Ljieton district. Tho resignation was accepted, the secretary being instructed to write • tetter of appreciation! to Mr Spriggs for his past services to the Board. . . Mr S. Larsen wrote asking for P«m»»»n to alter the' comse of a raco near his farm Yard. The application was granted. The'secretary reported that he had made application to the State Advances Office for the extra 10 per cent, on the £looo loan and that tho necessary forms were to hand for making formal ' application. n was decided to fill in tho forms and 'make application without • further delay.
