A handsome and commodious builcU ing on the slopes of Mount Hobson.has been presented to the Baptist Union of New Zealand as lite home for the New Zealand Baptist College in Auckland* seven members of the church, animated by a desire for service, have given um large and suitable house, which is built of brick, and situated on the slopes of the mountain at the corner of the Market and Remuera roads, for use as a residential college. The house was the t piopertv of Mr H. M. Smeeton. The New Zealand Baptist College, of which the Rev. J. J. North is principal, will enter into possession towards the end of next year.
