BOY STEALS SOVEREIGNS. IBT OABLE-FRBSS ABaOCIATKHf-COPWIQHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND H.Z. CABLB ASSOCIATION) MELBOURNE, December 30. The disappearance of gold coinage from the currency since the war was exemplified in the arrest of a boy of 15 for stealing a purse containing three sovereigns and other moneys. He still had the sovereigns in his possession and told the police that he did not know what'they were. A newspaper suggests that the museum should display sovereigns and half-sovereigns to enable school children to become acquainted with the coins, which are at present more or less legendary to thea.
