UNEMPLOYMENT.

POSITION IN DUNEDIN. (PKHS3 ASSOCIATION TELEGBAK.) DUNEDIN, May 12. Though unemployment generally is not serious, the position of labouring workers in Dunedin is acute. Mauy men are out of work, and unless some large public works are put in hand during the winter, great hardship is anticipated. . The number of people now out of work is sufficiently'great to have already engaged the attention of the City Council and trade union secretaries, who are taking steps to pesvent the situation from growing any more acute.
