AN APPEAL.
TO THE EDITOR OF "TIIJ! FRESS." Sir, —I desire, through your columns, to appeal to the sympathies of your readers, on behalf of two women, for whom I desire to obtain employment. One is a capable young woman, mother of an infant ehi'ld, in every respect worthy of help, who has been deserted by her husband, and who has neither income,' family, nor support of any kind. She is a tTained book-keeper, but' if unable to get work of that kind, would be glad to get suitable housework. Tlie other case is that of a young woman, equally worthy, mother of three children, whose husband is ill in hospital. Housework is asked for by the day. Both women prefer work to charitv, and their need is very urgent. I would be glad to hear from any person tvho could provide suitable ■ work for either of these women. Thanking you, in anticipation of your publishing this. —Tours, SULLI YAX, 111 Bichardsf Woolston.
