600 HOUSES DESTROYED IN EGYPT. (BT CAB?B—JBSSB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) CAIRO, April 5. A great fire at Tantah, raging for 24 hours, restated in 32 being killed. Four thousand arfe homeless, over 600 dwellings being destroyed. [Tantah is ft town of over 35,000 population, situated in the Delta. Tt is the capital of the province of Gharbieh, and is 64 miles north-west of Cairo, on the Alexandria-Cairo railway. It is noted for its fairs and Mohammedan festivals.]
