BURWOOD SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

At the) ordinary monthly meeting of the Burwood School Committee the following members were present: Messrs J. Liggins (chairman), J. McKechnie, G. Robinson, H. Rowse, and W. Bucktin. The Education Board reported that Mis* Marshall would take np the position of assistant teacher on Wednesday, April 7th.. Correspondence was received from the St. Albans School Committee with reference to a dental clinic. Tba headmaster reported the attendance to be satisfactory, and the work of the school to be progressing very favourably. An- invitation was received to attend a farewell gathering to the Hon. Mr Parr, Minister for Education, and it was decided to be represented. Mr H. Rowse was appointed to represent the committee at the meeting to be neld on April 9th to discuss Junior High Schools.
