The Walkouaiti is due at Lyttelton on Friday from Newcastle, via the south. The Wootton left Lyttelton yesterday for Wellington, from which port she proceeds to Durvillo Island to load sheep. She is duo at Ijyttelton again on Saturday. Formerly the Rene, tho German steel liarque Lißbeth, built at St. Nazaire in 1902, has been sold to the Bremen Shipowners' Union, and will bo converted into a training ship. The Royal Mail liner Asturias, 22,500 tons gross, 20,000 horse-power, the largest and most powerful motor liner in tho world, left Southampton on February 26th on her maiden Voyage to South America. She hns been equipped by the Marconi International Marine Communication Company, Limited, In addition to the ship's main wirolcsß installations carried by any ship afloat. This installation will enable the ship to keep in constant communication with land sthtloift and other vessels throughout every voyage. The Kahika completed loading operations yesterday, and sailed in the evening for Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The Holmdale arrived last evening from Oamaru to load general produce for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. She should complete, and sail for Lyttelton to-day. Tho Gale arrived last evening from the south to discharge and lead general cargo. Sho should proceed to-day to Lyttelton, and ■thence to Wellington and Wanganui. The Kamo is due from Oamaru on Monday morning to load general cargo for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. It is expected that tho Opihi will reach Tlmatu from Dunedin and Oamaru to-morrow to load a consignment of South Canterbury products' for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Calm is set down to bertb in Timaru from Oamaru to-day. On completing discharge arid loading operations, she will sail for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The overseas liner Port Victor is scheduled to Timaru from Port Chalmers today to load wool, frozen meat, and general cargo for the United Kingdom. She should Sail to-morrow night for Lyttelton to continue loading operations.
