EASTER MEETING.
CONCLUDING DAY. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club will conclude its Easter Meeting to-day. Excellent acceptances have been recoived, and the prospects of another successful day's racing bright. The principal handicap race on the card, the President's handicap, has drawn a field of thirteen horses, all good performers, including Loganwood, the winner, and Jack Potts, and Black Admiral, who filled third and fourth places in tho Easter Handicap on tho first day, also the brilliant Waifaki Girl. On first day form, the winner may be found amongst Black Admiral, Jack Potts, and Waitaki Girl. Five well-bred three-year-olds are engaged in the Champion Stakes, and the contest should prove an interesting one. Native Chief will start favourite, the moving up start will be in his favour, and he should prevail. In tho High Class Handicap there are twelve acceptors, and a trio with possibilities are Bonny Logan, Dillon Wilkes and Acron. There will be a special tram service ond tho first race will start at 11.35 a.m.
