RANGIORA HIGH SCHOOL.
OLD PUPILS' ASSOCIATION,
Tn response to repeated requests from ex-pupils of the Rangiora High School to do something towards establishing an ex-pupils' association, members of the staff of the Rangiora High School took the matter in hand. A fairly correct roll of the ex-pupils was compiled, and all those whose addresses were known were communicated with. The outcome waa the formation of the Rangiora High School Old. Scholars' Association on Friday evening. The following offioers were appointed President, Mr T. Shankland; secretary, Miss E. Cassoy; executive, president. secretary and Mrs C. E. Bell, Miss M. Jordan and Mr G. Ching. It was left to the executive to draw up the constitution.
In order to celebrate the event, a dance was held in the Parish Hall on Friday night, and was very largely attended. Music was supplied by the ex-pupils—Miss E. Bowbyes (piano), O. Alford (banjo), S. Devlin (xylophone), and R. Sutherland (violin). It is hoped to make the dance an annual affair.
