ASHBURTON MATCHES. Thp South Canterbury ladirr/ hockey team played a match apainst Ashbarton eleven on Saturday afternoon. The pronnd was in tVir thousrh slippery after the rains. Junior Competition. At the conclnsion of the representative ladies' hockey fixture on Saturday AHenton A met High School in a junior competition match, the former winning by two goals, scored by Miss 1). Cartwright, to one, scored by Miss I. Clark. As the result of the game, Allenton A and Methven will have to tight out the premiership in the junior competition, being equal in points.
