The ' Daily Herald - ' says that a new milling crisis i* developing, owing to the owners' interpr*iition of the recent truce. The miners were under' the impression that their wages would not be reduced, but the owners claim that the truce provision that wages should not be reduced below the 1924 agreement was being honoured because the 1924 agreement iixed the percentages" ta be devoted to wages, but left the district basis rates open to variation. Jlr A. J. Cook says that wage cuts have alreadv been made in several districts. The owners' action is creating a situation of extreme delicacy.
