BANKRUPT GOES TO GAOL. (PRISS ASSOCIATtOir TTT.nnmv ) HAMILTON, September 4. Arthur Charles Thynne, of Morrinsville, an ex-bank manager, was found guilty of failing to keep proper books. Ho was recomm'ended to mercy. On four other charges of breaches of the Bankruptcy Act he was found net guilty. Mr Justice Herdman said tho prisoner's experience snould havo shown him the necessity of keeping proper records. Ho was satisfied that tho prTsoner was not honest in all his dealings. It was not a case for probation. In the . interests of commercial morality he would have to impose punishment. Prisoner was sentenced to ' three jponths' hard labour.
