"QUO VADIS?" TO-NIGHT.

THEATRE ROYAL, AT 7.45 O'CLOCK. The first presentation in the Dominion of the new gigantic film production of "Quo Vadis?" will take place to-night at tho Theatre Royal. Punctually at 7 45 p.m. tho brilliant operatic prologue "Bacchante" will be presented, depicting tho bacchanalian revels of the notorious jblmperor Nero's Court. Jb'ift-oeii dancers havo been specially engaged tor tho -'Bacchanalian Ballet/' supported by a full operatic chorus and orchestra of over 40 specially selected vocalists and instrumentalists. Tho choral numbers will include the "Pilgrims' Chorus'' ("Taanliauser"), "Miserere Chorus" ("Troratorc"), "Power of Evil'' ("Faust"), "Drinking Song" ("Tales of Hoffman"). Gorgeously costumed and lavishly produced, tho prologue will bo presented in a manner befitting tho magnitude and beautv of "Quo Vadis?" The picture was filmed in Rome this year on tho actual site of Nero's tyrannies. Twenty thousand men, women, and children make up the stupendous cast. "Qoo Vadis? 1 ' is renlete with thrills, picturing vividly the burning of Rome by Nero, as an 'nspiration for his stupid verges, the burning of the Christian martyrs at the stake, and the hurling of other Christians to the lions in tho arena. Ursus, giant slave of Lvgia, the beautiful Christian girl, is shown in battle with the savage bull, t6 whoso back Nero had caused his mistress to bo bound. The inhumanities pi the tvrant are softened, however, by the tender !otg theme of Lygia and. Vinicius. the Roman general, and the supremo fa'th of the. Christians in the teaching of their leader, Peter tho Apostle. For beautv, for perfection of detail, for dramatic interest, religious •'•nil historical value, "Quo \adis " has never been cfjaa-Ued, and at this time it will havo a new and intimate apneal.
