Kumara, London, July 14th. SHIPPING NOTES. After the long delay owing to the tret weather, work was resumed on the waterfront on Friday and Saturday. A few of the vessels got away on Friday, and on Saturday there was an exodus of shipping. -The Karetu did not complete discharge on Saturday, and is now to sail to-day for Dunedin. Bluff, and Melbourne. The Storm arrived yesterday from Timaru, and loads to-day for Wellington and Wanganui. The Holmdale is to load here to-morrow for Wellington and Wanganui. The Ripa should be here to-morrow from Timaru to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Opua, which arrived yesterday. from Timaru, is to sail this afternoon with general cargo for Nelson, Westport, and Greymomh. The Progress is to load here to-day for Wellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. The Kennedy loads here to-day for For-cton direct.

The Katoa is due to-morrow from Wei lington with Auckland cargo for discharge She is to sail in the afternoon for Dunedin The Gale arrived yesterday from Weeing ton, aDd is to sail this afternoon, for Dun edin and Timaru.

The Cygnet sailed on Saturday night for Nelson direct. . She is due back to-morrow night, via Kaikoura, and is to load on Wednesday for Kaikoura, Nelson, and Motuclca.

The Kahika was to leave Hobart on Friday for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The Union Company's steamer Maunganui left Sydney on Friday for Wellington, where she "is due to-morrow.

The Union Company's steamer Flora, which has been undergoing engine repairs at Auckland, sailed from the northern port at 9 o'clock on Friday morning for Rarotonga.

Captain J. W. Cameron is now in command of the Kahika, vice Captain T. R. Robertson, who has transferred to the Ngatoro. 1 Mr W. R. Kiely has joined the Canopus as second engineer, and Mr G. Loader has signed off the vessel's articles as third engineer. Mr H. Pike has replaced Mr L. Cochrane as third mate of the Kaimai. Mr F. Mowatt is now chief engineer of the Kaimai, vice Mr S. Mclnnes. Mr E. Sutherland has joined the Koniata as second mate in succession to Mr H. Ewington. Mr H. Miller has succeeded Mr C. M. Vicar as second engineer oi the Karori. The Union Company's R.M.S. Tahiti is due at Wellington this morning from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is to leave Wellington to-morrow for Sydney.

The Federal liner Ruapehu, which lias been delayed by rain at Lyttelton, is now to leave to-day for Dunedin to complete discharge of her Liverpool cargo. The A. and A. Line steamer Keelunj now leaves Lyttelton to-day for Wnnganui" and Australian ports to complete discharge oi her New York cargo.

The Shaw-Savil' liner Pakelia left Lylielton on Saturday for Bluff to complete her loading. The vessel is expected to sail *roni Bluff on Wednesday next, for London, via Monte Video and Teneriffe. The Wellington agency for the A. and A. Line has received advice that the steamer Romeo sailed from Now York ou Sunday last, with cargo for discharge at Auckland.
