BASEBALL.

Owing to the Hagley Park Cricket ground being under water, the Canterbury Baseball Association on Saturday afternoon held a practice of throwing, catching, bdse-runaing, etc., in the Normal School grounds. There was a good muster of playci's, all being very keen in anticipation of some good games against the American Fleet tepms.
